[week one - saturday]
[ Well.
It's late in the evening on Absolute Hell Day, and after everything that's gone on, Vriska eventually decides to wander out to the beach to kinda chill her heels. She's got more spit and fire in her than she should, and she knows it. She needs to calm the fuck down before tomorrow.
(Not that it'll help in the end, god knows.)
What she isn't expecting to see during her restless pacing is Alistair, jogging across the beach. Followed by... a barkbeast? Wow. She has never actually seen one of those in person before.
Curiosity getting the better of her general malcontent, Vriska will flag Alistair down. ]
Hey. Burning off steam?

(Logically, he knows that there'd been no other possible outcome, that Yato had been doomed the second Haru had been chosen to die and the only thing they did today was prevent two other innocents from dying along with him - but Alistair's never held much stock with logic before, and he's not about to start now.)
So with his two usual coping mechanisms made unavailable to him (aka killing darkspawn and eating his feelings), he's resorted to running around the beach with a concerned Dog at his heels. When he sees Vriska though, he'll slow down and even manage to dredge up a smile for her (and if his eyes are a little red-rimmed, it's just the wind!! Really!!).]
There aren't a lot of other ways to do it on this island. You know, usually back home we can't catch a break from the darkspawn popping up every two seconds, but the one time I need something to hit and there isn't a single one to be found? Now I call that inconsiderate.

That is like, literally the last thing on planet whatever-they're-on that she wants to deal with, so luckily for you, Alistair, she will staunchly ignore your signs of obvious distress! ]
Hell if I know what darkspawn is, but you could always punch a tree if you're pissed off! That's what I told Akira to do.
[ it's sensible advice. ]
