[ There's a tense, heavy pause on her end, before she gives a soulful, quiet hiss of: ] Fuuuuuuuuck.

[ It's a blow, though not necessarily a personal one. Vriska sort of liked Isabelle, but they were never especially close. She knows Noh-Varr was a bit, well. Closer to her, though. In his own way.

Still, the request rankles her, and she pauses again before responding to it. ]

[ A pause. ]

Between you and me...this is similar to the murder on Selena. You heard, right?

[ The similarity makes him anxious and worried, but she doesn't need to hear that. ]

[ Stupid dumb. Jumping to conclusions as usual. Vriska forces herself to loosen up a bit and manages to sound at least the littlest bit contrite when she replies. ]

[ A beat. ] Yes. It was hard to miss. So, you know, this isn't really fucking suspicious at all or anything! Also, have you noticed this is the second time one of our rovermates has been straight up fucking murdered?

[ Not "killed." "Murdered." Despite the fact that Annie was described as killed in action, now that Isabelle's dead too, Vriska's no longer buying the narrative. ]
