(Seriously.) ✖ BACKGROUND: Raised in a brutal culture that prized violence and thought little of death, Vriska had an upbringing more blood-soaked than most. Forced from a tender age to murder hundreds of other trolls to survive, she grew up with a need to be infallible. This need was worsened by the discovery of her ancestor: a pirate infamous for her ruthlessness and cruelty. She became a wicked, cruel, manipulative girl herself, driving her friends away with her guile and fatal games. Once in Sgrub Vriska excelled, mastering the game and commanding the roles of others in it - until her pride led to her downfall, and she was murdered. Her death did nothing to dampen her ambitions, and she developed one last plan - one to take down the biggest bad of all, the time traveling demon who had set in motion all the events in her universe. The spectacular failure of this last plan left her defeated, bereaved, and once again friendless and reviled. ✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Vriska is a selfish, childish, petty, insecure, arrogant, and impetuous young teenager who hardly seems to know if she's coming or going. Fresh from the loss of people she cared about and branded newly a monster by someone she cared for and respected, she's nursing deep wounds and questioning everything she ever believed about herself. Though she can still carry the same haughty, cheery, mocking bearing from before, it is now more obvious than ever that this behavior is a mask. Vriska is possessed now of a tendency towards introspection and is only about half as ready to spit insults and condescension as she was before. She is capable of kindness, genuine sentiment, teasing, and love, but these things are buried beneath her troubled bravado and self-loathing.
