[week two - friday]

[ It's sunrise! The doors are unlocked. We're all ready for a beautiful new day on Moron Island--

Except for the part where the investigation will be starting soon, and Vriska, looking wild and terrified, will be slamming out of the hut she shares with Jinah and just fucking bolting. Were there people near the bonfire? Huh. Who cares. She's outta here.

Not that she goes far. She doesn't really think to. Like an animal seeking shelter, Vriska will ensconce herself in the small, dark, humid space beneath the longhouse. Pressed up against one of the structure's supports, Vriska curls up in a ball and tugs on her hair and thinks probably she will skip helping with the investigation today, maybe.

Get close enough and you can just kind of hear her chanting "fuck this" over and over. ]

[week two - thursday]

[ It's about an hour before curfew by the time Vriska wanders back to the huts. The ... things she's been seeing? Whatever is up with that? have been surreal, but so far she's keeping her cool. In fact, by the look of her, you wouldn't really know anything is wrong.

But the moment she spots Akira she'll make a beeline for him. And then do her usual thing of kind of draping on him in some fashion. ]

Are you seeing this weird fakey bullshit? This is definitely not just me, right. Are we collectively going crazy or what.

[week two - thursday]

[ So it's sunset again. And once again, it's absolutely beautiful, setting their idyllic tropical paradise ablaze with deep golds and blood reds.

And also, like, maybe other kinds of bloody things, because what the fuck?

Vriska is chilling on the beach when the hallucinations start. And it is pretty innocuous at first: she sees an unusually colored seashell and reaches to pick it up, frowning.

Except despite the fact that it feels totally real, a few blinks later she realizes she's holding nothing at all.
