[ irritably, jacopo looks to the side, huffing out a bit of smoke. ]

This is Murder Island and we were running low on resources. I was simply doing my part.

[ he gestures to the gems and rocks he managed to acquire, alongside some soaked sheets of paper that seem to display something akin to a sketch of a map. ]

Yes, it's Murder Island, we're all at risk of dying in one way or another. I don't go down easily.

...We ventured into the cavern. It turned into the world's worst slip and slide, and before we knew it, we were battling a torrent of water. We ended up getting whirled into a narrow tunnel, and we...lost our senses of self from there on. I don't remember the rest...neither of us do, but we found ourselves like this before being flooded out onto the shore.

Whatever was in there intended to brutalize us for its own entertainment, but I suppose that was all.

I hate to remind you of this fact which you've apparently forgotten, but you're just a human. Humans are bizarrely squishy and breakable! You will go down just as easily as anybody else if you keep up stunts like this.
