[week three - sunday, post-execution]
Hey, Katara.
[ Vriska will catch up to the other girl once that ... uh ... really interesting execution is over and done with. She just really aggressively does not care about their drama and would have visibly rolled her eyes at the piano playing if she were, you know, able to. Instead she just spends the entire time with her arms folded over her chest, tapping a foot, waiting for it to end.
When it finally does and Prussia has the expected mental meltdown, Vriska will just kind of shrug and go searching for who she's looking for. As people start to disperse, she spots the other girl in the crowd, and will trot up to her. ]
Got time to talk? We should catch up!
[ uh ... well ... she seems sincere about that, for whatever it's worth. ]

she feels sorry for them, but she still resents what austria did to the group as a whole. it makes her less sympathetic to her than she would have otherwise been. katara will probably feel terrible for feeling this way later, but she can't really change that about herself. her profile doesn't say "grudge holding" for nothing.
when she hears vriska calling out to her, she'll slow down for the other girl to reach her. ]
... yeah, I'm free. I don't really have any plans after... all that.

not vriska, anyway. be more like vriska, katara.
anyway, she'll snort. ]
Yeah, I don't think most people are going to. Ain't nobody going to be a great second act to ... uh, that! All of that. Yikes. [ Crooks a beckoning finger. ] Come on, let's head back to the huts. You okay?

[ she's not going to lie and say she is, since who would even believe that. she'll start walking in the direction that vriska suggested though. ]
I'm mostly angry though. I get that we're probably not going to get anywhere with this right away, but it's still frustrating.
[ too many suspects, not enough leads pointing to any of them. ]

[ which implies there can be more. SO. yeah. ]

You've been paying attention! Yes, they do. Someone feeling especially productive could kill more than that! Assuming they could pull it off. Inevitably, we're going to start dealing with multiple killer murders. Can we even vote for more than one person? Knowing those Chiefs, I'd guess not.
[ She talks about it all very frankly, just like she did in the trial. ]

[ she frowns. ]
We could always attempt to split the votes and tie it, but that would depend on everyone agreeing on who to vote for.
[ which they have proven to be very very bad at. ]

And actually, I agree with you that we should start to try and split the votes, if we need to. If we want to catch more than one killer, it's the only way. But if even one person decides they don't like the plan, it won't work. We'll actually have to be coordinated! And have the least fucking clue what we're doing, for once.

We might still be able to do it if we manage to just get a certain amount of people who'd definitely succeed with it. As long as those two people tie and get more votes than everyone else, it won't matter if one or two others protest it.
[ but they probably won't be able to manage it with the amount of people they have. it's terrible that a lot of their worse problems would be solved by having a lower number of people, since the way to solve that issue is the whole. murder thing. ugh. ]

We should still be careful how we approach it, if that's what we decide to do. It will require a lot of diplomacy.

[ there was the whole confusion about the nino votes, but that got resolved fairly quickly. ]
The problem would be if it continues out of them. If people voting for a particular person upsets someone else a lot, it could cause some major potential problems.
no subject
[ yeah vriska knows who that was mostly about. can someone tell jaffar to chill. ]
Honestly, let's be real, that is pretty much inevitable. Leaving fights at the trial has been pretty easy while we've all been voting for partners! Because any sore feelings can be resolved later. But there won't be any of that shit once total innocents who weren't involved at all start fucking dying. You vote for somebody, they die and their partner dies, their partner was bestest friends in the whoooooooole wide world with some other person... I think eventually we will start seeing a cascade of revenge moves as everyone tries to get back at everyone else! What we will have to try to do is put a stop to things before all that.

[ the rules aren't exactly specific as to how they have to beat it. ]

[ hard, but nothing about this has been easy.
